What papers and data have users of the COSMIC method published?

The appearance of the COSMIC method has stimulated an enormous amount of academic interest.  Research related to the use of COSMIC is underway in many institutions and it is difficult on this web-site to maintain an up-to-date overview of all that is happening.  The following sources of research data should be helpful.

The COSMIC Measurement Manual v3 contains many references to research results

Research results obtained under the leadership of Professor Alain Abran of the École de Technologie Supérieure at Montréal, Canada are published on http://www.gelog.etsmtl.ca/cosmic-ffp.

The International Workshop on Software Measurement is held every year, alternately in or near Montreal, Canada, and in or near Magdeburg, Germany.  There is usually a stream on papers related to COSMIC.  See http://ivs.cs.uni-magdeburg.de

COSMIC related papers are also published from time-to-time at the following conferences.

·          ACOSM, the Australian Software Metrics Association (www.asma.org.au)

·          ESEPG, the European Software Engineering Process Group (www.espi.org)

·          GUFPI, the Italian Software Metrics Association (www.gufpi.org)

·          NESMA, the Dutch Software Metrics Association (www.nesma.org)
